Feile
What an amazing weekend for our county!! An incredibly historic and successful Feile in which we sent two teams to south Leinster.
Hertfordshire GAA would like to thank our host clubs Naomh Moling of Carlow and Derry Gaels of Wicklow for their generosity, hospitality and brilliant craic. We were welcomed with open arms into each parish. The lads and our mentors are forever grateful.
Both sets of teams, their parents and clubs can be very proud of the fantastic young men they have and we look forward to their progression within the county.
Our division 10 team lost out in the cup q-final today to a very strong Kilkenny team (Danesford). We wish them all the best for the remainder of the competition.
Our division 9 team have made it through to the semi final of the cup competition and play tomorrow morning against Killucan, Westmeath at Wicklow's centre of Excellence.
We are very proud of both our teams making it through to the cup competitions and the efforts of all our players!
A great experience for them all and one that will stay with them for a lifetime!
Secretary of St Mullins Juvenile Club Joan Doyle had this to say; "As a parent that was host to your boys I want to congratulate ye on the very fine young men ye have. They were a pleasure to have and we wish them every luck in the future.
Looking fwd to hosting ye for the Hurling Feile in 2 years time"!!!!
Hertfordshire GAA would like to thank all the mentors who travelled with the teams and the parents who helped in the organisation and funding of the trip. Well Done to Glen Rovers, Saint Dympnas and Saint Josephs whos players made up the two panels.
