Hertfordshire County U14 Squads
The John West Féile Peile na nÓg 2019 tournament is being hosted by Connacht GAA in the west of Ireland on the weekend of Friday 28th June – Sunday 30th of June 2019.
Féile Peile na nÓg is a national festival of Gaelic football for boys and girls under 14 years of age. Around 8,500 children will play 851 games over the weekend. Féile is special and is one of the best weekends in the GAA calendar. This festival is about young people celebrating their love of Gaelic Games, bonding communities, allowing friendships to be made, providing educational opportunities and above all having fun.
Both squads and management teams have been working hard with a series of training sessions and challenge games over the past few months in preparation for the competition.
The boys squad consists of players from 5 clubs in our county:
1 x Cambridge Parnells, Cambridge
4 x St Colmcilles, St Albans
8 x St Dympnas, Luton
8 x St Joes, Waltham Cross
1 x Glen Rovers, Watford
Management team/mentors from 3 clubs:

Micky Foy - St Dympnas, Luton
Noel Griffin - St Josephs, Waltham Cross
The girls squad consists of players from 3 clubs in our county:
8 x St Josephs, Waltham Cross
7 Claddagh Gaels, Luton
6 x St Colmcilles, St Albans
Management team/mentors from 1 club:

Sophie Davies - St Josephs, Waltham Cross
The boys will be hosted by Menlough in Co. Galway and compete in Division 7. The girls will be hosted by Roscommon Gaels in Co. Roscommon and compete in Division 10. We are all very excited to meet our hosts!
